Missions News: Outreach
(Pasadena, CA) Thousands of Hispanics attended a massive crusade this past weekend seeking an encounter with Christ. Missionary Evangelist Jason Frenn combined forces with Radio Nueva Vida, the biggest Hispanic Christian radio network in the United States, to reach nearly 6,500 Hispanics in two presentations at one of the biggest in-door venues in Pasadena, California. Thousands committed their lives to Christ, with over 600 first-time decisions.
"There were many outstanding testimonies," said Jason Frenn. One lady that attended invited "nine people to come with her to the event. She drove hundreds of miles and saw every one of them walk forward and give their hearts to Christ." Another came with her mother and brought 20 other people to the outreach, "including her brother who is from Las Vegas and her husband who had been bound by drugs. Both her husband and brother gave their hearts to the Lord at the altars of repentance at the event this past Saturday."
Another individual came worried about her son, whom she had not seen for over four months. "Worried sick about his welfare, she went forward for prayer, and God touched her life. He filled her with peace -- peace that passes all understanding. The following day, her son called and asked her for forgiveness, and they were reunited. He had fallen into drugs but within the recent weeks, he re-dedicated his life to Christ, and God delivered him from the chains of drug addiction."
Since 1996, Jason has preached more than 50 crusades throughout Central America, Mexico and the United States. Jason has written 2 books, Power To Change, and Breaking the Barriers.
Radio Nueva Vida is a radio network based in California that focuses on a Spanish-Christian format of music and talk.
